So once we turn our lives over to Christ why don’t the trials and sufferings all disappear?
To answer that I must say, they don’t start disappearing, but rather start “appearing.” Think about it, the devil is angry with you; you have made a life altering decision to follow the one person he wants us against. You choose to follow the one person he wants to overcome and destroy. The devil is a sick character full of well thought out plans to pull, tug and jerk you off course. Once you turn your life over to Christ he has lost the battle with you, but only begins to torment you for the decision you made. Stay strong in your faith, root yourself in Gods amazing grace and remember that every tear you cry, is a tear that has already washed through Jesus hands. He has been where you are at. He walked there ahead of you. He won’t lead you somewhere alone, or unaccompanied. Look both ways before you make a decision and don’t be upset when the trials rain down because they will, but being prepared for them separates you from all the rest.
