So I had to go to the doctor today for my 6 month prenatal checkup and baby Rex is measuring right on target. I gained 4lbs more since last week, not very happy with that, but hey whatever baby Rex needs is okay with me. The nurse went to check his heart rate by the doppler and laid it on my stomach, as she started to find the heartbeat, baby Rex decided to kick the doppler device right off my stomach. Pretty funny to me, but hey he is in control of that part of the stomach, ha! Had an overall good day, only got weak and sore around 4:30 which is a lot better than usual. I am going to try to hold off on cutting back my hours at work until my next appointment which is November 8th. I am getting super excited because that will be my last "monthly" appointment as I will then start the every 2 week appearance at the OB.
The kids are getting pretty excited about their new little brother who should be here around January 28th. Robbie tells everyone I am "getting out there," not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but he loves me nonetheless.
My 1st baby shower is this Saturday hosted by my BFF Klee and I am super siked. I cannot wait to see what all I get for Mr. Rex. Maybe the shower coming up this Saturday will "start" to motivate my HUBBS to get started on the baby nursery! I am soooooo ready to have that part done, I am not one to "wait patiently" for anything just ask him. He is as laid back as they come, but that's what I love most about him, other than he is the greatest man I know!
Watching Iron Man II with the hubbs and kids tonight, but I am a little more interested in my blogging right now, but gotta make the effort even though I don't get into all this metal plated suit robo cop fighting stuff, ha!
